3D/4D ultrasound in pregnancy

This technology allows us to provides you with a three dimensional image of your baby. The best time to perform the scan is between 26 - 32 weeks of pregnancy.

If you would like 3D/4D views, images and a DVD of baby, please contact us and we can arrange an appointment. The main part of 3D/4D ultrasound scan involves a scan done through your tummy. There is no risk to you or your baby and it should not be too uncomfortable.

3D/4D ultrasound technology has currently reached a stage where it can easily be used in daily routine examinations. In contrast to conventional 2D ultrasound, which only presents the fetus in a 2D perspective, the different 3D modes provide us with images that can never be achieved with 2D ultrasound and give the team at OMNI the opportunity to identify normal and abnormal fetal anatomy in the most appropriate mode.
